Ryan Astor

Ryan Astor has a diverse background in university partnerships and recruitment. Ryan currently holds the position of Director of University Partnerships at Leap, where they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GeeBee Education as part of their University Partnerships team, starting in December 2022.

Before joining Leap and GeeBee Education, Ryan served as a Partner Success Manager, North America at Sannam S4 from September 2020 to July 2022. Ryan also worked at IELTS USA as an Associate Regional Manager, Midwest from April 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they assisted in expanding IELTS recognition by onboarding new institutions and managing communication plans. Ryan represented IELTS USA at various conferences and led training sessions for admissions and international student services staff.

Earlier in their career, Ryan worked as a Membership Development Manager at ARM - Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing from August 2017 to February 2019. Prior to that, they were associated with Carnegie Mellon University as the Associate Director of Masters Admissions - Tepper School of Business from August 2014 to August 2017. In this role, they oversaw diversity recruitment strategies and evaluated MBA candidate applications.

Ryan's career in university recruitment began at The University of Alabama, where they served as a Regional Recruiter for Western PA, Western NY, and West Virginia from August 2009 to August 2014. Ryan later became a Regional Recruitment Manager at the same institution from August 2011 to August 2014.

Ryan Astor holds a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education from Geneva College, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Ryan also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from PennWest California from 1997 to 2001. Prior to their college education, they attended York Suburban Senior High School from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications, including a Gateway Leadership Institute certification in International Enrollment Management, Metaverse and NFTs for Marketing certification from Linkedin Learning App, Communicating for Leadership Success certification from Insperity, HR Fundamentals for Supervisors certification from Insperity, Prepare to Study and Live in the UK certification from British Council, Study UK, The GREAT Campaign, Study UK: A Guide For Education Agents certification from British Council, and Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google. Ryan also completed RAIN Sales Training.
