Jessica Rumbelow

Jessica Rumbelow is a co-founder of Leap Labs, with previous experience as a researcher at SERIMATS and a Technical Alignment Research Scientist at Aligned AI. A research scientist at the University of St Andrews for three years, Jessica focused on deep learning and its interpretability in digital pathology. In addition to academic roles, Jessica has held positions including Outside Research Coordinator and AI Safety Researcher at AI Safety Camp, CAPOD Mentor for Computer Science at the University of St Andrews, and AGI Forum Officer for the Effective Altruism Society St Andrews. An entrepreneur, Jessica has also worked as a web developer and creative director for various companies while maintaining a freelance career as a fine artist. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of St Andrews, alongside certifications in web development and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art.
