Vanesa Vilas has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Vanesa started their career as a J2EE Web Developer at SoftAgrega in 2006. Vanesa then worked as a Presentation Developer and later as a UX Specialist at Sabre Holdings, where they specialized in usability studies, mockup and prototypes construction, and served as an advisor for accessibility practices. After that, they joined TeraCode as a User Experience Specialist, focusing on improving user interfaces.
In 2011, Vanesa Vilas worked as a User Consultant and Technical Analyst at Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Global Trade, where they provided technical analysis and consultation to clients. Vanesa also worked at Datastar as a Technical Analyst and UX Specialist, gathering user requirements and writing functional and technical documentation.
Vanesa Vilas has also worked as a freelancer, taking on multiple roles. As a Freelance Technical Analyst and UI Specialist, they engaged in full-stack development, created UX prototypes and wireframes, and provided general UX consultancy and research. In their role as a Freelance Technical Analyst, they focused on analyzing technical aspects of various projects.
In 2018, Vanesa Vilas served as an External Scrum Master Advisor at flexibility+ideas, where they provided guidance and advice on scrum methodology. Vanesa then became a Technical Analyst and UAT Specialist, working as an Independent Consultant from 2017 to 2019.

Before that, in 1995 and 1996, they attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they studied Medicine, although they did not complete a degree in that field.
