Roman Parkhunovskyi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Roman started their career at Ukrprom Bank in 2008 as a System Automation Engineer, where they focused on banking software deployment and support, as well as providing solutions for automation of common tasks. Roman then joined the Fastfood restaurants chain in 2010 as a System Administrator, responsible for software deployment and support, writing custom reports, and maintaining computer hardware and office equipment. In 2012, they transitioned to SoftServe as an IT Helpdesk Support Engineer, where they provided user support, hardware installation and maintenance, and managed equipment inventory. Roman later became a DevOps Engineer at SoftServe, specializing in developing and implementing DevOps strategies. Currently, they are a Senior DevOps Engineer at Leapfin, a position they have held since 2023.
Roman Parkhunovskyi began their education in 2002 at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, where they studied Management of Organizations. Roman completed this program in 2007 and obtained the degree of specialist. Roman continued their education at the same university from 2006 to 2008, focusing on Automation Systems Software Engineering and earning another specialist degree.
In addition to their formal education, Roman Parkhunovskyi has obtained several certifications. In April 2016, they became an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate. In August 2018, they became Google Cloud Certified as a Professional Cloud Architect. Lastly, in February 2018, Roman achieved the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification through the Compendium Centrum Edukacyjne institution.
