Sudhir Ramakrishna

Sudhir Ramakrishna has a strong and extensive work history in the telecommunications industry. Sudhir is currently the Vice President at LeapFrog Semiconductor, Inc. since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the VP, 5G RAN Systems at Mavenir from January 2019 until September 2021. From August 2016 to January 2019, Sudhir was the VP, Systems Engineering at PHAZR, where they were responsible for hands-on cellular systems design and product development in a startup environment. Before that, Sudhir worked at Samsung Research America - Dallas as a Principal Engineer from August 2008 to August 2016. During their time at Samsung, they contributed to cellular system operation design, standardization, and simulator development. Sudhir's career began at Lucent Technologies - Bell Labs Innovations, where they served as a Member of Technical Staff from May 1998 to July 2008.

Sudhir Ramakrishna completed their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Sudhir started their academic journey in 1988 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree. After graduating in 1992, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University from 1992 to 1994. Sudhir further advanced their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University from 1994 to 1998.
