Ayush Shrestha

Ayush Shrestha has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. Ayush began their career in 2015 as an Associate Developer at LIS Nepal Pvt. Ltd., where they gained experience in gathering business requirements, managing client expectations, and coordinating tasks with offshore teams. Ayush later moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer (BI) and took on the role of managing service partners and vendors.

In 2017, Ayush joined Siam Makro Public Company Limited as a Technical Consultant and was later promoted to Senior Technical Consultant. During their time there, they managed cross-functional teams and oversaw the delivery of reports and analyses for various process areas such as sales, finance, marketing, and operations.

Ayush also had experience working abroad, specifically in Myanmar and China. At ARO Company Ltd. (Makro Myanmar), they led a reporting team and managed the implementation of a data warehouse and reporting system. Similarly, at Makro (Guangzhou) Food Company Ltd., they took on the role of BI Reporting Lead and coordinated with other IT vendors to ensure the smooth delivery and handover of the Data Warehousing and Reporting system.

In 2020, Ayush joined Leapfrog Technology, Inc. as a Lead Engineer, Data/Analytics. Ayush communicated with clients to understand their business goals and convert them into technical requirements/solutions. Ayush also made architectural decisions and drove the development of technical projects. In 2021, they were promoted to Principal Engineer, Data/Analytics and became the Data Team Lead. In this role, they were involved in drafting and implementing strategies to grow the Data Team and improve the delivery quality of client projects. Ayush also provided guidance and technical leadership to the Data team and was responsible for improving internal company processes.

Throughout their career, Ayush has demonstrated their expertise in data and analytics, their ability to manage teams and projects, and their strong communication and leadership skills.

Ayush Shrestha completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IOE Pulchowk Campus from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their +2 education in Science from National School of Sciences (NIST) from 2009 to 2011. Ayush also obtained a School Leaving Certificate from DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati HSS in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from Microsoft in 2013.
