Claude Joseph

Claude Joseph is the Senior Afterschool Program Director at LeAp. Claude has over 18 years of experience in accounting and finance. Claude started their career as an accountant at Berne Medical Center in August 2005. Claude conducted a full range of financial accounting activities, including preparing financial statements, preparing and documenting insurance claims, managing credit facilities at banks, and managing external and internal audit processes. In May 2008, Claude became the Senior Financial Analyst at Infosud Corporation where they prepared financial projections and monitored revenues and expenses vs. budget; prepared and analyzed income and cash flow statements; prepared and reviewed all documents pre audit and instituted accounting processes to implement recommendations. Claude also prepared bank statement reconciliations; managed credit lines and loans from banks; managed accounts payable and accounts receivable; prepared month end reports; and prepared and executed payrolls.

Claude Joseph has a Master’s of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from the National Institute of Business Administration Management and International Studies.

Claude Joseph reports to Jennifer DiFiglia, Chief Program Officer. They work with Gabe Gordon - Director, Program Operations, Tricia Frazier - Senior Afterschool Program Director, and Jeneen Garcia - MD, Middle School Programs.
