LeAp
Max Arnaud is an accomplished Lead Teaching Artist and Mentor at LEAP since October 2015, where responsibilities include leading staff meetings, organizing showcases, and mentoring teachers. Additionally, Max has contributed as a Workshop Leader at New York City Children's Theater since December 2008, focusing on playwriting residencies, and at LEAP- Leap OnStage since September 2016, leading workshops in middle and high schools. Prior experience includes directing and teaching young actors at Brooklyn Players, developing engaging curriculum at 87 Afterschool, and serving as a Media Lab Concierge at the Children's Museum of the Arts. Max holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and History from Tulane University and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from West Virginia University, where earlier teaching experience included college-level acting courses.

LeAp is a leading innovator in educational programs and services and one of the premiere arts-in-education programs in New York City. Since 1977 LeAp has helped over two million students reach their full potential academically, artistically, and socially. In the last six years, LeAp has received numerous federal grants to study the impact of using our arts-based strategies to improve student performance on students' literacy skills. The results have been extraordinary, as students in our programs continue to excel in subsequent years. LeAp's programs promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in students of all ages and abilities.
