Axel Palomino

Axel Palomino is an Associate Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, responsible for teaching "Automotive Embedded Software Development" in the METSE master's program since September 2016. In addition, Axel serves as the Core Software Engineering Manager at Lear Corporation, overseeing core software engineering activities for the LEAR Valls facility and leading global core software engineering initiatives across all Lear engineering centers. Prior roles at Lear include Software Engineering Manager, where Axel managed an embedded software department of over 100 engineers and coordinated with offshore teams, and Software Principal, supervising software team leaders for automotive embedded software projects. Axel's career in the automotive industry began as a Software Team Leader and Software Engineer. Axel holds a Master's degree (MBA) from Universitat Rovira i Virgili and a degree from Universitat de Barcelona.
