Michael Wiers is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in automotive seating systems. Since November 2011, Michael has held various leadership roles at Lear Corporation, including Engineering Manager for Seat Foam & Trim and Platform Manager for Global Trim, actively championing the Global Lear Project Management Process for the trim business. Michael contributed to the design of the 2014 Chevy Impala seat trim and previously managed significant engineering teams and projects in automotive seating from concept to production. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Contract Specialist for the Army Contracting Command and account management for Ishikawa Gasket America. Michael holds an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from Walsh College and a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
