Daniel Junk

Network Math Instructional Coach at LEARN CHARTER SCHOOL

Daniel Junk currently serves as the Network Math Instructional Coach for LEARN Charter School Network, focusing on supporting and developing mathematics teachers in grades 1-8 through individualized coaching, professional development, and data analysis. Previously, as the Math Department Lead at Noble Schools, Daniel achieved significant improvements in student performance on diagnostic tests and implemented strategies to enhance state test outcomes. Daniel's teaching experience includes roles as a 7-8 Grade Math Teacher and advisor where rigorous instruction led to exceptional student growth, and as a Data Team Lead analyzing academic achievement. Earlier career roles include teaching at HOPE Christian Schools, where Daniel developed a high-performing curriculum and established an athletics department, and serving as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Alverno College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/History from DePaul University.
