Melina Wezerek

Melina Wezerek serves as the Student Services Coordinator at LEARN Charter School Network since July 2023, following a role as the Dean of Student Supports at Great Lakes Academy Charter School from July 2021 to July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Special Education Coordinator at The Mission Preparatory School from July 2017 to June 2021, and as the Lead Special Education Teacher at LEARN Charter School Network from August 2014 to August 2017. Melina Wezerek began the career as a Special Education Teacher with Teach For America from 2014 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Dominican University, completed between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa, obtained from 2010 to 2014.
