Haotian Zhang

Haotian Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and computer vision. Haotian started their career as a Machine Learning Engineer at Learnable, Inc. in 2019 and later took on the role of Technical Lead for the CV team. In this position, they led the team in researching core algorithms.

Prior to that, Haotian worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia Engineering from 2017 to 2019. Under the supervision of Prof. Hod Lipson, they conducted research on novel approaches for recreating 3D structures from abstract 2D shadowless frame projections. Haotian also designed a modularized framework for Encoder-Decoder models and developed ETL pipelines using Tensorflow.

Haotian also gained experience as a Software Engineer at CALM Energy, Inc. in 2018. In this role, they created an AWS and ElasticSearch based ETL data pipeline for real-time sensor data and developed a PyTorch-based framework for anomaly detection using generative LSTM networks.
