Kelly Michaels-Soluk has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kelly started their career in 1990 as a Bank Manager at Club Med, where they managed guest accounts and monetary transactions. From 1991 to 1993, they worked as an Assistant Export Manager at Jervis B. Webb Worldwide, where they prepared documentation for international shipments and managed correspondence with foreign licensees. In 1993, they served as an Export Coordinator at Alberto Culver. Following that, they joined ProMexico in 1994 and held multiple roles, including Trade Executive and Deputy Trade Commissioner. At ProMexico, Kelly promoted trade between Mexico and various regions, organizing trade missions and presenting at seminars. Finally, since 2013, they have been working at Learning A-Z as an Engineering Project Coordinator III, where they serve as the liaison between the company's largest customers, the implementation team, and the engineering department to facilitate a service called AutoRostering.

Kelly Michaels-Soluk began their education in 1986 at the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Latin American Studies. Kelly successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1990. Following that, they continued their education at Eastern Michigan University from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Languages and International Trade.
