Sonia Bazán

Sonia Bazán, SMC, SDC is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience (UX) design and product development. Currently serving as a Senior UX Designer and UX Lead at Learning A-Z since April 2022, Sonia previously held multiple roles at Studio Bazán, LLC from September 2008 to April 2022. This included positions as a Product Designer and UX Architect, particularly for Oben Health, where focus was on designing digital health solutions for underrepresented communities. Previous experience includes directing UX design at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the Columbus Museum of Art, contributing to comprehensive software solutions that enhanced user experiences. Early career involved architectural design at LRC Arquitectura, with education from prestigious institutions including the University of Pennsylvania and Universidad de Puerto Rico, complemented by a UX Designer Nanodegree from Udacity.
