Dr. Kenneth Kunz is an Assistant professor in Literacy Education in the Curriculum and Instruction Department. He earned an Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership and an Ed.M. in Reading Specialization from Rutgers University, and a B.S. in Elementary Education and English from Kean University.
Previously, he served as the Supervisor of Curriculum Instruction in the Middlesex Public Schools. As a third and fourth grade teacher, he was nominated for the State Governor’s Teaching Award. He is currently serving as president of the New Jersey Literacy Association (NJLA) and is a newly elected board member for the International Literacy Association (ILA) His research focus is on literacy interventions in public school classrooms.
