Lori Alexander

Lori Alexander is a seasoned educator and facilitator with a diverse background in teaching and support roles. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Facilitator at Learning Ally since October 2021, Lori also instructs yoga at Verve Health & Fitness and works as an EL Tutor for VIPKid, both positions held since August 2019 and July 2016, respectively. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Support Coordinator for Arlington Public Schools and a Graduate Instructor for the Washington Teachers Union. Lori's teaching career began as a Special Education Teacher with the District of Columbia Public Schools and includes time as a Teacher at Albuquerque Public Schools and a Tutor at Huntington Learning Center. Lori holds a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from The George Washington University, a Master’s in Special Education from The University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University.
