Kim Smith Claudel

Kim Smith Claudel is a Co-Founder and CEO of Learning Beautiful, a position held since January 2017. Prior to this, Kim served as a Research Scientist/Artist at the MIT Media Lab from August 2012 to June 2017 and briefly worked in Adobe's Creative Technologies Lab in 2016. Kim also held the role of Department Head and Teacher at Fusion Academy from September 2012 to August 2013. Educationally, Kim earned a Master's Degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the School of Visual Arts. Kim's academic background also includes a Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts as well as Art History from Oregon State University.
