Rena Sovde M.ed

Rena Sovde, MAT, currently serves as a High School Academic Support Teacher at Bellevue School District since June 2021, focusing on online learning and social-emotional interventions while guiding students in their goal-setting. Rena also works as an ELA Subject Matter Expert for Learning List, evaluating online curricular products and providing feedback to colleagues. Previous experience includes teaching positions at Pearson, K12, and Bellevue School District, where Rena delivered differentiated instruction to high school and middle school students and developed various assessment items in English Language Arts. Rena holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Education from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Washington.
