Francois Jurgens

Francois Jurgens is a Senior Production Manager and Course Writing Manager at LearningMate, responsible for overseeing a team of course writers to produce high-quality educational materials since October 2023. Previously, Francois held the position of Course Writing Manager at 2U, where leadership involved developing content for prominent universities and corporate partners, and served as Lead Learning Designer, guiding a team in creating online educational materials. Additional experience includes roles as a Learning Designer at GetSmarter, Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at the University of Cape Town, and a Teaching Assistant at Rhodes University. Francois holds a PhD in Law, an LLB, an MA in Philosophy, and multiple honors degrees from Rhodes University.
