Barbara Bertoncini

Barbara Bertoncini is a People Operations Specialist at Learnlife. Barbara has a wealth of experience in human resources, compliance, and office management.

Barbara started their career as an HR, Compliance & Office Management at The Book of Everyone. In this role, they were responsible for organizing new volunterees onboarding meetings, setting up new volunterees into the system, and assuring every volunteer's file had the required legal documentation. Barbara also worked on the Covid19 Homeless shelter Pere Calafell Project and the Covid19 Food bank Project.

After two years at The Book of Everyone, Barbara took on a role as a People Operations Analyst at Glovo. In this role, they were responsible for gathering information about the country of destination to facilitate the expat relocation, providing employees with information regarding the cultural differences between origin and destination countries, and informing employees about the cultural shock phases with suggestions to manage them in the best possible way. Barbara also built HR action plan matrixes based on employee’s nationality and the relocation country.

Most recently, Barbara has taken on the role of Global Mobility Consultant at WORLDPATS. In this role, they are responsible for gathering information about the country of destination to facilitate the expat relocation, providing employees with information regarding the cultural differences between origin and destination countries, and informing employees about the cultural shock phases with suggestions to manage them in the best possible way. Barbara also builds HR action plan matrixes based on employee’s nationality and the relocation country.

Barbara Bertoncini has a postgraduate degree in internationalization of human resources and global mobility from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a postgraduate degree in Spanish labor law from UPF Barcelona School of Management, a master's degree in human resource management from Dublin Business School, and a master's degree in law from Università degli Studi di Genova. Barbara also has an accountant technician diploma in accounting from Istituto G. Ruffini and various certifications in labor risks prevention, payroll and social security, mediation techniques, human experience management (HXM), conflict resolution, coaching techniques, and diversity and inclusion in the workplace from Foment Formació, openSAP, and ESSEC Business School.
