Jenny Wells is currently a Learning Guide at Learnlife. Jenny has also previously worked as an English Language Studies Coordinator at Anuntis from June 2004 to October 2006, and as a Study Abroad Program Coordinator at Lexia Study Abroad from January 2007 to July 2009.
In their role as English Language Studies Coordinator, Jenny was responsible for designing and implementing a multi-faceted English language training program for 100+ employees in a multinational headquarters. Jenny also provided individualized, motivating, goal-driven language coaching for top-level executives, and created a continuous assessment system to ensure relevancy and achievement of individual and group goals. Additionally, Jenny coordinated level testing and evaluation, and researched and selected appropriate resources and materials.
As Study Abroad Program Coordinator at Lexia Study Abroad, Jenny was responsible for establishing and developing the Barcelona program from its inception, evaluating available courses of study and forging working relationships with local entities including Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and RESA/Barcelona Housing. Jenny also oversaw the ongoing development of cultural excursions and activities highlighting features unique to Barcelona and Catalonia, such as regional calçotadas, festivals, bicycle tours through Penedès vineyards, Catalan cooking classes, landscapes of Catalonia in the work of Antoni Gaudí, the Costa Brava through the eyes of Dalí as well as all major area museums and attractions. Additionally, Jenny designed and oversaw specialized courses for the Lexia Field Research/Area Studies curriculum, developed potential specialized business and visual culture tracks, and designed orientation sessions to help students quickly find their comfort zone while piquing their interest in issues and opportunities specific to their neighborhoods, Barcelona and Catalonia.
Jenny also arranged for housing in homestays and shared student apartments, served as a buffer/translator/cultural interpreter whenever necessary, and mentored students individually throughout the semester, setting and evaluating goals, designing and planning field research projects, and monitoring overall well-being. Jenny was also responsible for all site administrative and financial duties and reporting, maintaining strong communication with Lexia home office, and served as the 24-hour emergency contact for students and families, providing support and assistance as necessary.

Jenny Wells reports to Stephen Harris, Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer. They work with Jim Conner - Learning Guide and Explorers Programme Co-Lead, María Campos Ippólito - Learning Guide, and Maxine Buttigieg - Learning Guide Assistant.
