Laura Gabriela Nistor has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laura Gabriela began their career as a Freelance Writer at Elance in 2012 and later worked as a Freelance Proofreader as a freelancer in 2013. In the same year, they also founded and served as an Online Romanian Teacher at SpeakinRomanianToday.
In 2013, Laura joined italki as a Professional Teacher until 2014. Laura Gabriela then took on roles at Open Languages Project, first as a Language Development Manager, and later as a Translation Manager from 2013 to 2017.
Laura's experience continued to expand as they worked as a Virtual Team Manager at Learnlight from 2014 to 2016. From 2019 to 2021, Laura worked at Learnlight as a Product Manager, responsible for managing the product portfolio and aligning it with the company's business strategy. Laura Gabriela then became a Group Product Manager from 2021 to 2022.
Most recently, Laura has taken on the role of Head of Product Management at Learnlight. In this position, they are responsible for the maturity of the product portfolio, mentoring and coaching the product management team, and delivering optimized solutions aligned with the business strategy.
In addition to their professional endeavors, Laura also served as a Co-Host at CreativeMornings from 2020 to 2022, where they contributed to hosting events and fostering creativity within the community. Overall, Laura Gabriela Nistor has demonstrated a strong background in product management, project management, and leadership throughout their career.
Laura Gabriela Nistor has a diverse education history. In 2020, they attended the "Școala informală de IT" and received a Certificate of Participation in Information Technology. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Operations Management from the London School of Business and Finance LSBF, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. From 2009 to 2012, they studied at the "Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Foreign Languages, with a focus on English and Spanish.
