David J. Saltman has extensive work experience in the fields of commercial leasing, real estate development, and legal counsel. From 2019 to the present, they have served as the President of LeasePilot, where they are responsible for increasing value through enhanced commercial leasing productivity and efficiency. David J. also leads the implementation of customers' commercial lease forms into the LeasePilot automation software platform. In this role, they utilize their expertise in commercial leasing and negotiations to assist clients in getting leases signed more quickly. Prior to their position at LeasePilot, David J. Saltman worked at The Vista Group from 2008 to 2019. During this tenure, they held the role of Real Estate Attorney and In-House Counsel, where they oversaw a wide range of transactional legal matters, compliance, real estate development, investor management, commercial leasing, gaming operations, and commercial lending. David J. also served as a point of contact for student housing consulting, development, and management. Additionally, they were responsible for pre-litigation matters and oversaw outside counsel for litigation matters, including disputes between landlords and tenants, and lender and creditor claims.
David J. Saltman has a strong educational background in the field of law and business. David J. obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specialization in Real Estate Law and Business Contracts from the California Western School of Law. Additionally, they pursued a joint MBA/JD program at the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University, where they further developed their expertise in Real Estate Law and Business Studies. Prior to their legal education, David earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations from Tufts University.
In addition to their educational qualifications, David J. Saltman holds the distinction of being a licensed attorney. David J. is certified as an Attorney by both the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, which they obtained in May 2017, and the State Bar of Nevada, which they obtained in October 2008.
