Laura Osier

Laura Osier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Laura started their career at Scheels All Sports as a Specialty Shop Manager/Buyer from December 2005 to April 2007. Laura then worked at Club Libby Lu, a Saks Fifth Avenue Company, where they held positions such as Distribution Analyst, Associate Planner, and eventually became the Director of Merchandise Planning and Allocation. Laura worked at this company from May 2007 to February 2009.

Following this, they joined Crate & Barrel as a Planning Manager from September 2009 to January 2011. During this time, Laura also founded and provided fitness classes as an instructor at Chicago Body Club. From January 2011 to April 2012, they served as the Director of Operations & Planning at Gifting Grace, a JCPenney Company.

Laura continued their career at Vicelight, a company they founded in 2012, where they developed an iPhone app focused on advice and interaction for retail and consumer users. Laura worked at Vicelight until October 2013.

In 2013, Laura joined ALCO Stores, Inc. as a Buyer, responsible for Home Decor, Seasonal, Crafts, and Stationery. Laura later became a Sr. Buyer, handling Decor, Seasonal, Stationery, and Outdoor products. Their tenure at ALCO Stores, Inc. lasted from October 2013 to December 2014.

Most recently, Laura Osier has been working at Leatherology since February 2015. Laura started as a Senior Product Manager, then moved up to the position of Director of Merchandising. Currently, they hold the role of Executive Director, starting from August 2020. Additionally, Laura recently became a Member at Chief in February 2022.

Laura Osier has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production from Iowa State University. In 2012, they also attended The Starter League, formerly Code Academy, for a brief period where they focused on studying Web Development with a specialization in Ruby on Rails.
