Kristofer Alberga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in natural resource management and environmental education. Currently serving as Supervisor of Natural Resources at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation since September 1997, Kristofer has held various roles including Regional Forester, District Forester, and Forester 1. Additionally, Kristofer has been a Master Educator with the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics since 2006 and a member of the Society of American Foresters since 1997. As a committed community volunteer since April 1985, Kristofer's dedication to environmental stewardship is evident. Previous roles include Special Project Coordinator for USA Bobsled/Skeleton and Environmental Specialist for Warren County, New York. Kristofer holds an Associate of Applied Business degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Eastern Gateway Community College, a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University at Albany, an MS in Forest Resources Management - Wilderness Management, and a BS in Forest Resources and Environmental Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
