Toufic Chaaban

Toufic Chaaban is a distinguished medical professional serving as the Program Director for both the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Lebanese American University since January 2021, alongside a role as Clinical Assistant Professor in Pulmonary and Critical Care. Previously, Toufic Chaaban worked as an Intensivist with Médecins Sans Frontières at a COVID-19 hospital in Barelias, Bekaa from September 2020 to May 2021 and completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neurocritical Care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from June 2018 to July 2020. From June 2012 to June 2018, Toufic Chaaban was a Fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the American University of Beirut. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Lebanese University (2006-2012) and an Internal Medicine Residency from the American University of Beirut (2012-2015).
