Deb Laffin has been the Director and Coordinator of Adult Learning Services at the Lebanon School District for the past 22 years. In this role, they oversee a program that provides free basic education to adults 18 and older in reading, writing, and math, as well as preparation for the HiSET (High School Equivalency) and ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) exams. The program is funded by the state and federal government, and relies on volunteer tutors to help students reach their goals. Under Laffin's leadership, the program has helped thousands of adults get their high school equivalency and improve their lives.
