Lawrence Knorr has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several decades. Lawrence has held various leadership roles in different companies and industries. Lawrence's most recent position is as the Vice President of Information Technology at Lebanon Seaboard, where they oversee the manufacturing and supply of turf and ornamental products. Prior to this, they were the ERP/WMS/CRM Practice Lead at SummaSys Corporation, where they led various projects and implementations for healthcare and publishing companies. Lawrence also served as the Director of Strategy Integration / Information Systems at Ahold, where they managed applications development and support for a chain of grocery retail stores. Before that, they were the Chief Information Officer at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, leading the implementation of the Oracle Financials and Retail Management Suite. Lawrence has also worked as an ERP Program Manager at Kao Corporation and held multiple roles at Exel, including Sr. Integration Team Leader and Contract Project Manager. Lawrence started their career as the President / CEO of NorSoft, Inc., a computer consulting firm that served various clients in the Mid Atlantic region. Lawrence began their professional journey as an Independent Consultant at Knorr Software Systems, providing programming and project management services to clients globally.
Lawrence Knorr's education history begins in 1983 when they obtained a Certificate in Computer Programming from Lehigh Data Processing Institute. Lawrence later pursued further education, starting in 2000, and obtained a BA degree in Business/Economics from Wilson College in 2001. Lawrence then continued their studies at Penn State University, where they earned an MBA in Business Management/Economics in 2002. From 2002 to 2007, Lawrence Knorr engaged in the MS/IS Program from Penn State University, specializing in Information Systems.
In addition to their formal education, Lawrence Knorr has also acquired additional certifications. In 2005, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Lawrence furthered their skills by becoming a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in February 2016.
