Richard Darwent

Richard Darwent has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Richard started their career working at PwC Consulting in corporate strategy from 1997 to 1999. Richard then joined Telewest, where they held various roles such as Sales and Finance Manager, Head of Commercial Finance, and Head of Sales and Operational Development from 1999 to 2005. After Telewest, they moved to Entertainment UK and served as the Head of Commercial Finance, Head of Finance, and Finance Director from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they co-founded Flutteroo.co.uk and worked as the Founding CFO for a short period. Later, they joined Tesco PLC in different finance director roles, including Non-Foods, UK Commercial, and IT and Procurement Director for Tesco Malaysia from 2009 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the CFO-Saga Services at Saga plc. After that, they joined TalkTalk as the CFO Consumer & Group Procurement Director from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Lebara since October 2020.
