Denise Klug

Denise Klug is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in retail journalism and analysis. Currently serving as the Head of the Technology & Logistics department at Lebensmittel Zeitung since January 2020, Denise plays a pivotal role in the organization and is a jury member for prestigious awards, including EHI’s Reta Awards and BVL's Deutscher Logistikpreis. Prior to this, Denise held various roles at LZ Retailytics from April 2016 to December 2019, including Director of Product and Senior Sales & Usability Manager, focusing on private label trends and international client advisory. Denise’s career began at Planet Retail, where expertise in discounters and private label was developed, culminating in a leadership role. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Linguistics from Goethe University Frankfurt and a certification as a Foreign Language Correspondence Clerk.
