Thomas Poignant

Thomas Poignant is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and driving innovative technology solutions. Currently serving as the Head Of Engineering Buyer Crew at Leboncoin.fr since January 2025, Thomas oversees engineering efforts to enhance the buyer experience for one of France's largest websites. Previously, Thomas held several key positions at Adevinta, including Head of Engineering Fraud & Risk, where oversight was provided for a team of over 50 engineers dedicated to fraud prevention. Additional roles included Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, focusing on various teams and projects aimed at identity management and moderation. Early career experiences include team leadership and software development roles at companies such as Front, Nexity, and ILEX-international, demonstrating a robust foundation in software engineering and project management. Thomas Poignant holds a Master’s degree in Informatics from IFSIC Rennes and has completed a DUT in Informatique from IUT Informatique Lannion.
