Cheryl Schmidt

Cheryl Schmidt is director of organizational development (OD) at LeChase where she is responsible for the companywide employee learning and development program, leadership development and coaching and talent management. Cheryl joined LeChase in 2015 with more than 15 years of experience in HR and OD leadership, career development and employee/management training – including eight years as HR director at a human services organization in Rochester and three years as OD director for a local health network. She has a master’s degree in human resources development and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, both from St. John Fisher College, and has served as a panelist/guest speaker for HR/OD students at both her alma mater and the Rochester Institute of Technology. She has Senior Certified Professional accreditation from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and is also an active member of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD). She has acted in an HR advisory capacity for several Rochester community organizations including the Mary Cariola Children’s Center, where she has been on the HR board since 2011.
