Tariq Halim is a seasoned psychiatrist with extensive experience in behavioral health and academic roles. Currently serving as President at the Core Revitalizing Center since January 2019, Tariq also holds positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor at LECOM - Bradenton and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Florida State University. Previous leadership includes Director of Behavioral Health at Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. and Bond Community Health Center Inc. Tariq's foundational training was completed at the University of South Florida, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine degree and a residency in psychiatry from 2007. Additional early career experience includes a teaching role at the School District of Hillsborough County.
