Ray Whinery

Ray Whinery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in network operations and management. Currently serving as General Manager for the Kentucky Wired Network at Ledcor since October 2018, Ray oversees engineering, construction, installation, and service assurance while managing various operational aspects. Previous roles include Chief Service Operations Officer at Global Capacity, where responsibilities encompassed service delivery and field operations, and Vice President of Network and Technical Operations at Zayo Group, focusing on architecture and product evaluation. Ray's career also includes leadership positions at American Traffic Solutions, Time Warner Telecom, and U S West Communications, where significant revenue growth and cost savings were achieved. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a certificate in Creative Leadership Principles and Tools from the Covey Center.
