Shailesh Modak, CLGM, is a seasoned professional in utilities and environmental services with extensive leadership experience across multiple municipalities. Currently serving as the Manager of Utilities for Leduc County since February 2023, Shailesh oversees municipal water distribution, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, and stormwater systems while fostering innovation and customer service. Previously, Shailesh held the position of Manager of Environmental Services for the City of Cold Lake, managing critical infrastructure and regulatory compliance. Other roles include Senior Environmental Consultant at SM Consulting, Manager of Operations for the City of Edmonton, Operations/Project Manager at Aquatera Utilities Inc., Engineering Technologist at BSG Engineering Ltd., and Sectional Engineer for the City of New Bombay. Shailesh holds a National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government Polytechnic College.
