James Wacht

James Wacht has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. James started their career as an Associate Attorney at Bachner, Tally, Polevoy and Misher in 1981, where they worked until 1989. In 1989, they established Sierra Real Estate, a full-service real estate company specializing in the ownership and management of office and residential buildings in New York City. In 2011, they also founded Sierra Development Associates LLC.

Since 2011, James has held the position of President and Managing Principal at Lee & Associates NYC, a full-service commercial brokerage company. James is responsible for various roles including leasing advisory, tenant representation, owner representation, corporate services, retail brokerage services, investment sales brokerage, property management, facilities management, construction services, and seniors housing and healthcare. Additionally, they are currently the President and Managing Principal of Lee & Associates Residential NYC and Lee & Associates BQ/LI LLC.

James Wacht received their Bachelor of Arts degree in physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977. James then went on to attend the Boston University School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in 1981, specializing in Law.
