Mark Santiago has extensive experience in financial management and auditing, currently serving as Fleet Resource Manager for Lee County since July 2019. Prior to this role, Mark held several positions with the Lee County School District, including Director of Financial Services, where oversight of 25 personnel in Financial Accounting and Property Records was a key responsibility. Mark also served as Assistant Director of Financial Accounting & Property Records, managing payments to vendors and tracking asset acquisitions and dispositions. Earlier in the career, Mark worked as a Senior Auditor in the Internal Audit Department, focusing on procedural and financial audits of the District's Internal Funds. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of South Florida from 1991 to 1994.
