Debbie Anselm

Debbie Anselm serves as the Executive Director of the Iowa Newspaper Association since October 2023, bringing extensive experience from Lee Enterprises where Anselm has held various leadership roles since 2001, including President of the Iowa Strategic Business Unit. In this capacity, Anselm successfully led the execution of a five-year plan contributing to an annual revenue of $46 million, overseeing the management of six publications. Previous roles include Publisher of the Quad City Strategic Business Unit and the Quad-City Times, where Anselm implemented strategic plans for revenue growth and market expansion. Early career stages involved management positions at The Times Media Company, focusing on sales, marketing, and advertising revenue. Debbie Anselm holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
