Amy Waldrop

Amy Waldrop is an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist with a robust background in orthopaedic surgery. Currently, Amy serves as a CST at Lee Health since September 2020, with previous experience at Holly Springs Surgery Center, Blue Ridge Surgical, WakeMed, and Harnett Health - Betsy Johnson Hospital. Key responsibilities include functioning as the first scrub in a variety of orthopaedic procedures such as total joint arthroplasties and ACL reconstructions. Prior to a career in surgical technology, Amy held various customer service roles at Kroger and Lowes Foods, and began professional experience as a clerk at the US Coast Guard Exchange. Amy holds an Associate of Science degree from Miller-Motte College-Cary.
