Mark Sawitsky SMT has a diverse work experience, starting as a Store Manager at The Real Canadian Liquor Store from April 2006 to May 2008. Mark managed a retail store with a large inventory and a team of employees. In August 2008, Mark transitioned into an Inside Sales Representative role at Euro Tile Ltd, where they handled sales responsibilities. Afterwards, they joined After Eight Interiors in December 2012 as a Purchaser & Logistics Manager, overseeing inventory, purchasing, and logistics. In 2016, Mark became a Clinic Instructor at Running Room and also worked as a Customer Sales Representative at Lee Valley Tools Ltd from August 2012 onwards. Currently, they are a Senior Purchaser at KBM Commercial Flooring, responsible for managing procurement activities for the company.

Mark Sawitsky SMT attended Marion Graham High School from 1999 to 2000, obtaining a high school diploma. Mark then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Culture at the University of Calgary from 2000 to 2005. After their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and completed a Supply Chain Management Training Diploma with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, which they finished in 2017.
