Carl Lyles

Carl Lyles has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carl started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Siemens Industry US in 2011. Carl then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ford Motor Company from 2013 to 2014. Carl joined Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas, Inc. in 2014 as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they led continuous improvement activities. From 2016 to 2018, Carl worked as a Project Manager at Sturm-Gruppe, co-managing the design and manufacture of automotive assembly lines. Carl then moved on to Webasto Roof Systems Americas, where they held various roles including Operations Project Manager, Plant Program Manager, and Facilities Manager & Plant Program Manager. Currently, Carl is working as the Director of Business Strategy and Analytics at Lee Machinery Movers, starting in 2021.

Carl Lyles has a solid educational background in mechanical engineering. Carl obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2012. During their undergraduate studies, they also pursued a minor in Business and Engineering from the Denning Technology & Management Program from 2010 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, Carl continued their education at the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Computer-Aided Engineering, from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Carl has obtained the Engineer In-Training certification from the State Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors in May 2013.
