Vince Rock is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in program development and nursing within the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Since April 2005, Vince has served as Program Development Manager, focusing on essential programs for the Leech Lake Reservation, including food security initiatives. Vince's nursing experience includes roles as Registered Nurse in Home Care, providing comprehensive healthcare to residents, and Interim Health Director, overseeing health division operations during the COVID crisis. From April 2014 to September 2021, Vince held the position of Director of Nursing, supervising a team across multiple health programs. Earlier experience includes working as a Registered Nurse in urgent care at Cass Lake Indian Health Service and as an Emergency Medical Technician with Leech Lake Ambulance. Vince holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from North Hennepin Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
