Kristian Burke, EIT, has four years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2021, they began working as a Project Engineer for Leeding Builders Group, where they were responsible for the Change Order Process, management of Submittals and RFI's, and assisted with review of Secant Pile Layout and Parks Dept. Additionally, they worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., where they oversaw and certified the construction of retaining walls up to 600’ in length, backfill operations, and fielded investigations by method of test pits and exploratory borings. In 2019, they worked as a Construction Intern for AECOM Tishman, where they assisted in implementation of Site Safety Plan, assisted MEP Superintendent in day-to-day duties, and reviewed and documented work in progress. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Intern for Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, where they oversaw geotechnical borings, excavation of test pits, bedrock excavation and construction underpinning, and performed surveys.
Kristian Burke, EIT, has an educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Bergen Community College from 2015 to 2017. Kristian also graduated from Pascack Valley High School in 2013. In addition to their educational background, Burke also holds certifications from NCEES as an Engineer In Training, obtained in August 2020, and from the OSHA Safety Training Institute for 40Hr HAZWOPER/10Hr Construction and OSHA 30 + 10Hr SST Card.
