Ryan Golding

Ryan Golding is an experienced groundsman with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as the Head Groundsman at Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club since May 2003. Notably, at the age of 27, Ryan became one of the youngest Head Groundsmen in the United Kingdom. Previous roles include Assistant Head Groundsman and Assistant Groundsman, where responsibilities included maintenance and organization of playing surfaces at Headingley Stadium and the Leeds Rugby Academy. Earlier training at Arsenal F.C. provided foundational knowledge in pitch maintenance. Ryan holds NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Sportsturf from Askham Bryan College, complemented by a BTEC Level 2 in Team Leading, Sportsturf.
