Professor Fiona Shelton Bed

Professor Fiona Shelton holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) from Liverpool John Moores University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Education, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the University of Derby. Currently serving as Professor of Education and Pedagogy and Director of the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at Leeds Trinity University since September 2021, Fiona was previously Dean of Students at the University of Derby, where Professor Fiona Shelton held multiple leadership roles, including Head of the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. Fiona has experience as a Primary Curriculum Adviser with the Qualifications & Curriculum Development Agency and has a background in theatre as an actor and workshop facilitator. A National Teaching Fellow since 2019, Fiona's career demonstrates a robust commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
