Chris Trotter

Chris Trotter is a seasoned football scout currently serving as a Senior Scout at Leeds United since February 2024, with a focus on covering all football markets, particularly in the UK. Prior to this role, Chris was a Recruitment Consultant at Sport Republic from October 2023 to February 2024, and held the position of Head of Recruitment at Hartlepool United Football Club from April 2022 to February 2023. Chris also worked as Chief Scout for Rotherham United Football Club from April 2019 to April 2022, and spent nearly a decade at Middlesbrough Football & Athletic Company where roles included Head of Technical Recruitment, Senior Scout, and various performance analyst positions. Chris began a coaching career as Lead Coach at Middlesbrough College in 2009, following education at Leeds Beckett University from 2006 to 2009.
