Joshua Pate

Joshua Pate currently serves as the Dean of the School of Business & Management at Lees-McRae College since July 2022, overseeing programs in Business Administration, Outdoor Recreation Management, and Sport Management. Pate has extensive teaching experience, having worked as a Professor and Program Coordinator in Sport Management at ABILITY Magazine and held various academic positions including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at James Madison University. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Tennessee and Interactive Producer at Turner Sports. Joshua Pate holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Studies, a Master of Science in Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, all obtained from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
