Laura Affonso is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. Currently a Partner at Lefosse Advogados since February 2014, Laura previously held the position of Senior Associate at the same firm. Prior to this, Laura served as Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Manager at JBS from April 2011 to January 2014 and worked as an Associate at KLA-Koury Lopes Advogados for a brief period in early 2011. Laura's legal career began at KLA-Koury Lopes Advogados, where Laura was an Intern from 2004 to 2006 and later became an Associate from 2007 to 2011. International experience includes working as a Foreign Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP in late 2010. Laura holds an LLM in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Law from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
