Naima Akther is an experienced English Language Arts teacher currently employed at Legacy College Preparatory Charter School since January 2021. Legacy College Prep is an independent, tuition-free charter school opening in the South Bronx the fall of 2017 to sixth grade only. We will grow one grade each year until we are fully enrolled through twelfth grade. Our Mission: Through rigorous academic instruction, values-based character development, and the pursuit of ambitious goals, Legacy College Preparatory Charter School ensures all students in grades six through twelve are prepared to graduate from college, access professional opportunities, and build a positive legacy for future generations.
